The Department of Multidisciplinary Engineering at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, is proud to host TIMES 2025 with a forward-looking theme that addresses the crucial intersection of data science, semiconductor technology, and energy innovation in shaping a greener future. This international conference aims to bring together academicians, scientists, researchers, scholars, industrialists, and policymakers to exchange innovative ideas, showcase cutting-edge research, and discuss advancements across multiple engineering and science disciplines.

The NorthCap University (NCU) was founded in 1996 as an Institute of Technology and Management college(ITM). The institute gained the status of a State Private university in 2009, under Act No. 25/2009, by the Legislature of the State of Haryana and accorded UGC approval under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. NCU rebranded itself on 31 August 2015 via Haryana Government Ordinance No. 2 of 2015, followed by a UGC notification dated 26 August 2015. NCU is a single-campus university located in Sector 23-A, Gurugram, Haryana.
NCU is NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited and is ranked among the top 100 Indian universities on the 2022 NIRF round of assessment. In addition, NCU secured five stars on the QS Stars rating system in Teaching, Employability, Online Learning, Academic Development, and Inclusiveness, making NCU among the top universities in India.
The Department of Multidisciplinary Engineering at The NorthCap University is a platform for a creative collaboration of core engineering domains. The Department offers Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. programs of all core engineering domains such as Civil Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The Department is committed to imparting quality education and skill development amongst students through industry-ready programs. In addition, MDE is focused on socially relevant areas to carry out quality research by the faculty and students.
The Department has state of the art and high-tech facilities like CAD Lab, NABL-accredited labs for material testing, (NavIC) lab set up in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Automation Lab set up in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric India Ltd. In addition, the Department has a Daikin center of excellence for HVAC. It has a tinkering lab and maker’s space for promoting innovation and technology development by the faculty and students. True to its vision and mission, the Department strives to be a global leader in innovation, academic excellence, and sustainable & socially relevant research projects.
Gurgaon, officially named Gurugram, is a satellite city and administrative headquarters of Gurugram District, located in the northern Indian state of Haryana. It is situated near the Delhi–Haryana border, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of the national capital of India, New Delhi. It is one of the major satellite cities of Delhi and is part of the National Capital Region of India.
Gurgaon is India’s second largest information technology hub and third largest financial and banking hub. Gurgaon is also home to one of India’s largest medical tourism industries. Gurgaon serves as the headquarters of many of India’s largest companies, is home to thousands of startup companies and has local offices for more than 250 Fortune 500 companies. It accounts for almost 70% of the total annual economic investments in Haryana state, which has helped it become a leading hub for high-tech industry in northern India.
